Well its look like Gantz is going to end soon with long thriller excitement.... Its getting good..( sigh) well i was hoping more romantic Ecchi stuff inside before the gore excitement actions comes in....

Hell no! I'm glad that they have finally picked up the action that is how this manga was meant to run. But I agree that it looks like it is about to come to a close. Although there may be one more plot twist to keep it going before it comes to a close.

i somewhat disagree, to just put random sex in Gantz would be a degradation of a quality manga. there needs to be a legit context for the ecchi scenes or otherwise it turns into something like the first half of the love love anime noo~ except with a lot more violence

I say it gives it some plot because I guess it gives reason on why the characters do what they have to do. I'm really disappointed with some of the chapters though.
it seems some of them were just written well not even written, but drawn to meet the weekly deadline. some of it was utter crap and it was so stupid that all you saw were aliens appearing everywhere and the black suited guys getting crushed. then of course they get back on their feet and crush the bad guys.

pretty repetitive battle scenes at times but still awesome nonetheless.

For one reason that Gantz is probably one of the best action mangas ever is probably because it brings up everything: Drama, romance (not that much, but you get the picture), action, and adventure. But hey! What's the point of having ultra difficult monsters or w/e to fight against, if none of your friends die!?

Even though people can be "ressurected" in Gantz, you can't disagree that having yourself and/or your friends dying is not interesting. It just adds up to the story EVEN MORE!!! Well, plus, the drawings are pretty good. Especially the boobed ones.

But I believe that Korono's Soul (spirit), his current Memories, as well as his DNA is already obtained by Gantz. Which was why he was able recreate him or even heal him completely...

You do realize since the beginning the first sex scene in Gantz was random right??? If by this time you still think random sex (and a guy randomly raping aliens) is a degradation of a quality manga (Gantz) stop now. And seeing how the manga is coming to an end is already too late for redemption.

other than the alien rape though it may have been randomly occuring sex but it served a specific plot purpose. like way back when they were fighting in that Buddhist temple with all the giant alien Buddhas. right before that kurono was having sex with that girl. she ended up dying it it had a big impact on kurono and therefor the plot. same with that other girl he fell in love with. they had some random sex but the random sex helped to emphasize how deep their relation ship was and again through that deepening and diversifying the storyline.

its a good manga, and i like it an all that, but it kind of bugs me. just...the hidden insanity is kind of creepy for some of the people. and some of the plot twists as well, but all in all its a good manga.

I totally love this series.. but after the new phase started i feel like the action is starting to feel forced.. everything between the 1st chapter and the one prior the second phase are brilliant with awesome moments after the other.. over the top action

Gantz anime was getting good until it went through the filler arc and filler ending! Although this could be salvaged by having the entire filler arc as a bad dream and the animators can go for the chibi aliens to the roman statue aliens.

I like this manga. You never know who will end up dead. I also can't believe that after 300 chapters, nothing really makes sense still. I'm kinda glad it's starting to end, so that the huge plot holes can finally be filled after all this time.
Btw, the anime SUCKED! So bad. and the ending was HORRIBLE!

Yeah the manga hasn't explained anything clearly throughout the entire series I don't think they are going to start now. :) I hope they have flashbacks to explain the past random aliens, and how people couldn't see them till much later in the series. Good chapter though, I hope that Tae doesn't die though. ahh-damn
