The max image size is now 3000x3000 and the size limit is 3.7MB. Things to expect in the next few days:

That group page thing I talked about before
User uploads listed on their forum profiles
Free Chapter Downloads (maybe, comment if you think it's worth it)
Removing auto view (NEVER MIND)
For some reason the email notification for uploaders isn't working and it's annoying me so I might just give up and have a on screen alert. (What do you think?)
Upload a series image (DONE)

Oh and pretty soon Manga Hut will have a partner site you can subscribe to if you wanted the latest anime/manga news.

Chatango: I'm still considering if I should bring it back. If you enjoyed it and would like it back post in this thread (http://forums.mangahut.com/showthread.php?p=63633#post63633). Either way there will be a chat box on the forums later today.

Removing auto view in 2 days (comment why I shouldn't)
Hey! It's the greatest feature of this site, which is why I prefer mangahut to other online readers. The next image is preloaded and when you click on it, it appears instantly. With manual view you have to wait until html file is fully loaded and rendered. You also have to scroll the page header again. Auto view is 10x more user friendly than manual view.

Some people use really old browsers and all the javascript messes em up. So I can either fix or remove it. I wanna see if people think it's worth it.

Manue view is slow and annoying. Like alreayd said auto-view is user friendly!

yea keep auto view. its the best! manual view would have to wait a longer time to see the image and that is irritating! autoview FTW! :D

Mmmm ya having chatango was amazing. mostly because u'll find all sorts of people in there, with the only connection being that... we all read manga , and ofc, have gone to mangahut site at least once.

please bring it back kaiten, if only for those 41 of us who really love it, and still frequent the old chatango site, waiting for the new one ^^ (yes we have a list, and we're even making a little e-family tree)

Remove auto-view? Why.. why dear God why? It's the only reason I read manga on this site, to be perfectly honest.

Definitely keep autoview since it makes reading much easier and quicker and bring the chatango back! It was definitely enjoyable to chat there with everyone ^^

You could code something that allows an option for viewers to choose whether they want the auto-viewer or the new image thing you are putting.

That way, everyone is happy.

Auto-view is too awesome to be removed, don`t do that! ^^ It speeds up the viewing speed significantly, it is really slow without it (at least for me).

I agree. Also, 3000x3000 is way to big. Try reading Ai Yori Aoshi/133. You cant.

KEEP AUTO VIEW!!! my connection is bad enough even with auto view i still have to wait sometimes cause i read a bit fast :P also about the chatango i dont really care for it to be back on the main page it gives me a headache when i go there so maybe a link to it would be better

i quite dont agree with the DWNLOAD CHAPTER thing. downloading it would be useless. cause u have just read it. but it depends for people who likes to stay in one chapter and read it like forever.

auto view is too good to remove. way gooood! i dont agree with that. well my connection is very fast for the both viewing modes. but auto view is like best in viewing mangas!
and the UPLOAD A SERIES IMAGE! i totally agreee!

seems i agree with everyone else as well, auto-view should definitely be kept as it is the reason i use this site over others, even if it means waiting a bit longer for uploads.

please dont remove it!

Auto view is the top-right button on your manga reader which you click to stop reloading the page for every new one you want to see. It makes reading manga faster and far easier. nose-pick

And I'd also like to say that you should not enable chapter downloads. My reasons are that it's pointless since the mangas would always gonna be on the site (hopefully) and that to enable download on the site, you are gonna lag the site down/use more money to increase server bandwidth.
I hope I made sense ^_^

auto view simple explanation: while u view a manga the image only reloads not the entire window. makes reading easier and faster.

agree with the download a chapter. but there are many ways such as hosting in not a premium way.

erm i want the download part...but can Kaitenv instead using the site itself to download...u can probably let other or urself to host it at download server site for eg. mega upload or rapidshare. this will not cause the site to lag

I wish more sites had auto-view. Not having to reload the page really speeds things up. Also are we supposed to get a message when something is successfully uploaded? I'm a bit confused on that.

Yes, it should say "Your entry has been submitted and is awaiting moderation" on your page and redirect you back to step 1 of uploading to upload another chapter. Flower Flower/001 has been approved, but 002 doesn't have any images. Have you uploaded them yet?

As a long time fan of this manga site, it would sadden me if the auto view function was removed that function has personally helped me when viewing any manga on this great site. Because unlike other site this site has that personal uniqueness that other sites don't. By taking it down MangaHut would be like all the other manga sites.

PLEASE!!!!!!he just said he won't remove it..sheesh..lol

also, the download chapter feature is also great. I'm quite worried on how KaitenV will maintain the server bandwidth and other correlating situations...but I hope he goes with this manga downloading plan. But if the bandwidth goes to high...I hope you have a way of turning the downloading feature off, until you update the bandwidth. (maybe I'm off)

Personally I have no desire to down load manga's.

It's not worth the HD space on my computer to host manga's. I'd much rather just read it that one or two times when it's out, then refer back to it at a later date when a reason to arises.

Seems like a good idea, to me. It'd help if for some reason or another you lose a manga, someone who downloaded it could easily just re-up. No?

Has anyone realised it but chapter->chapter transfer doesn't work any more.

e.g. last page of ch1 to first page of ch2 gets me message "not available" when it is.

As for the chapter download utility, I would use it. Just because I like to have the things I read. And I suppose that there are a lot more people like that.

However, if that was to be made in a way that caused the site to lag, I would not want it. I can always go to other sites to download the chapters after reading them here.
