I'm not indie fan too, but i must say that there are some pretty decent groups like YouTube - The Kooks - Ooh La and YouTube - We Walk - The Ting Tings HQ + Lyrics that definitely grab me.

Anyway, here's one bulgarian alternative rock group that is realllly good - YouTube - Ostava - Baby. I'm supporting them with both hands! bye-miss

Hmm, I'm more of a metalhead, but I do listen to alternative rock once in a while, The Offspring, Skillet, Rise Against... I really enjoy just listening to internet radio, and they play those bands on the alternative rock channel on 1club.fm all the time. ^^

Huh~ Umm, okay... When it comes to anime music L'arc-en-Ciel (with P'unk-en-Ciel lineup) are one of my favorites, and if you're a Hellsing OVA fan you should know some of Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra's work, which I also like. ^^ Recently I've been tuning in on Suilen, which will supposedly be playing the ending song for OVAs VI and VII with "Shinto Shite", a more calm and suiting song.

Im more a fan of relaxed music, this is what i listen to alot recently. Don't judge the music before you atleast listened to half of the clip, they all have a long opening.

Clint Mansell is a musical genius that makes soundtracks for movies. His music is so intense, this is his most well known soundtrack Lux Aeterna. spiced up a bit with a well edited Neon Genesis video clip

Mogwai is a relatively unknown band that makes great instrumental music, very soothing to listen to. I can just close my eyes and float away listening to this.

Also called Requiem for a Dream. That song brought chills down my spine when I first heard it on the movie with the same name, and then again on a LoTR trailer or something. Amazing song.

I don't like most of the theme songs in all animes. There are some exceptions thou.. Death Note's second opening theme is really good. The performing band is called Maximum to the Hormone and the song - Whats up people?

Hmm, well instrumentally they're okay I guess, but without proper vocals of some sort they just don't cut it for me. I mean I listen to screamo, I don't care if I understand what they're singing about or not, but it's all loud growls and weird sounds, it doesn't sound like anything. Some of the preludes on their songs are hella funny though. ^^
