The always funny, always exciting manga Gintama seems to be only getting more and more popular these days, with the anime entering it's 4th season and the manga running ever so nicely. It seems to have become one of those mangas/animes that you think "oh this will never end", (although they joked around about it in season 3 of the anime and made fans go crazy) and personally I hope it never will because of its sheer awesomeness. singing~

i actually started watching the anime when i couldn't find the missing chapters.

now i'm hooked on it. i still consider the manga better, though. i hope someone will pick up the missing chapters soon

The anime would be better to follow right now, since it doesn't have as many holes, (only one around 117-129-ish? I think) and they follow the manga really well.

hi would you guys mind telling me something about gintama?
I really dont like reading the synopsis they have because they sometimes give me the wrong idea about a manga, like xxxholic did but when i actually read it, it turned out to be pretty okay.

So, any basic information you guys can give me?
I mean i consider myself a crazy manga fan and i read absolutely almost every shounen manga and especially sports mangas. (except baseball... ones eww.)

I heard it may be a retelling of the Benizakura arc though, I would much rather have them make a movie about Gin's past in the amanto war.

That would be awesome too. Maybe Sorachi is planning to do that with the manga at some point. It wold take a ton of chapters to tell the story, though I don't know how he could fit gags into every chapter for that.
