I'm pretty sure it's live action and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who hasn't made a good movie in some time, so I'm not sure what to think. It'll probably end up being a rent only.

im pretty disappointed wid dbz and street fighters. american shouldnt touch those animes/toons. and this one would end up lame. this is a nicktoon ive watched it and they did not follow the correct story! oh well.

Most definitely...a great show.
Nickelodeon did a great job in making Avatar an awesome addition to their tv broadcasting.

The movie's bending effects seem to be nice...but the aang's tattoos seem fake...

The Tattoos need to be blue or gray! Not looked like they are scribbled on the skin with crayon..lol....or color markers...lol

Hope Katara looks nice...and Sokka behaves funny...

Hope Katara and Sokka have the same skin dark color...

i cnat help but think of the DBZ movie when seeing this trailor.
im a fan of the avatar series and i cant help but be underwhelmed when seeing this tailor

Yeah the abridged series is quite funny. I don't know about this movie. There have been many a movie that have not very well as adaptations from anime/cartoon shows (DB: Evolution...a bad time in history for fans) but I might be surprised.

sigh~ I had such high hopes for this movie too. M.Night, seriously? And I know that the series was serious at times, what with the escaping from death and things, but the overall feel I got from it was fun, and this doesn't make it seem like it's going to be very fun at all.
