what do you guys think of this manga?

i enjoy it, i dont completely know why though since it follows a prety stereotypical storyline as far as shounen/martial arts based mangas go

It's quite good, but lately it's been slowing down. If ownly we got to see more of the Sakaki vs 2 Yami Masters.... Anyways, peoples should read it.

i enjoy it a lot. i like the fights and such, and martial arts in general just just fascinates me. plus the story is pretty good all around.

Hahahahaah, yes! I love that part. Probably one of my favorite part. And yeah, its a bit ecchi. That plus martial arts violence and comedy, its a good one. Ive been reading it for years, its in my top five.

Definitely a very good manga. one of the few that are ongoing that i check for on the new releases list every day.

The anime was fairly good, but it ended at episode 50 something which corresponds to around chapter 100 something i forget exactly. and with 356 chapters its up to you to decide which one you would prefer.


Manga = win in my case. i dont know why i like it, as it is the only martial arts manga i like. maybe its because the manga starts off with a genuinely pathetic main character and from there progresses to a badass. seriously even i can fight better then Kenichi at the start of the series.... i think if you know how to fall, you can fight better then him.



but in the end its a manga i love, lots of good comic relief in it. lots of action scenes. and lots of badass fight scenes. a must for any guy

I like this one. Especially the old monster Furinji Hayato.
Once he starts his groove everyone`s skin starts jumpin.
Only Kenichi needs a power up since everyone proclaimed him to be a master class in progress

It's great manga to read, its very funny when kenichi is running away or being scarred by the trainings that was given by his masters.

I like it. It is a very interesting manga. It seemed to become more supernatural as it goes on. I wonder if the author gonna have them shooting energy projectiles since he brought in Ki in the story. I do feel that the ecchi is sometimes excess. Overall, good manga to read.

ive really been thinking about it and i just can't see this series ending without a time skip. I don't mean a time skip at the end where they say "10 years later" and everyone comes back as adults, i mean that kenichi has got to be much more powerful then where he is now. I know it's called the strongest disciple but i think the whole point is to see him become a master. For that i think maybe right after high school he needs to go on a journey like the elder did and come back an unbeatable monster in like 2-3 years.

Yeah I can definitely see that happening, but I'd prefer to see how he learns the new techniques through training, that's why he is the disciple. He can't go out on a journey like the elder because he is never going to be a master anytime soon. Probably get killed to if he went on a journey since he has a hit on his head.

i glanced at it. still haven't figured out if it's worth reading yet. just the fact that it's with a boy and a girl, yet they aren't in a relationship or anything. kinda bores meh.
