The purpose of this guide is to teach you how to successfully upload a chapter to Mangahut.com
Please be aware that by uploading to our site, you are constantly contributing to our community. You should also know that by reading this guide, you are on the verge of accepting the prospect of becoming a supporter for this site. By uploading chapters on MH, you will gain much more credit than just being a regular lurker. In the near future, all members who uploaded (even if it be one chapter) will gain benefits that a regular member wouldn’t. That is why this guide is here, to help better explain to members the most beneficial way to upload and update series, and make this site the best Manga site on the net.
Now to get started!
What you should know
Before beginning anything, you’ll have to know these facts:
You must log-in directly from the main page. If you log in from the forum, the main page may not recognize it and it will behave as if you aren’t logged in.
Only Upload Manga in the English Language.
Do Not Upload Marvel, DC, or any Canadian/USA/European Publishing Comics.
We only accept COMICS that are drawn in the Manga style.
Only Upload Manga in a file format called: ZIPa. IMPORTANT! .Zip chapters should be packed like >THIS< (http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3200/zip1c.jpg) and NOT like >THIS< (http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/620/zip2.jpg)
b. Pages in archive can be in any popular format i.e. .jpg/.jpeg, .png or .gif
c. RAR file format will be accepted soon. Any other formats (for example: PDF) will not be.
d. If you are uploading volumes, and the volume is broken into chapters, make sure you unpack those chapters and put them into one file in the volume. If you don't do this, not all of the chapters will show up. This is IMPORTANT!
We accept Hentai & Doujinshi genres.
When using a Firefox browser or Flock browser, try to get an add-on called "SkipScreen". See the post below for more info.

You will need to know which sites to go get your stuff. Which are:

On the TOP RIGHT of the main page, you will see three options near the search engine.
Click the middle one called ‘Upload Chapter’.
An Uploading form should be seen like the image in the spoiler.

A. How it works

Like it says, Firefox is the best browser you can count on to achieve great results.
Also, please try to upload all kinds of group chapters. Even when the chapter is available on our site, if there is a more suitable quality out there, try to upload it.
B. Series Name

In addition to the description, if you are uploading a NEW SERIES that is not on MangaHut then go ahead and upload it. It will be automatically uploaded to our database when we accept your submission.
C. Chapter Number & Title

This section only recognizes number digits. If you put any other digit, it won’t work. If a manga you are uploading is a OneShot, then just put it in the Title section. We will know.
D. Chapter Type

HQ means High Quality
Omake is anything Extra
Pilot is a pre-beginning that an author made for the actual series but is not in the 1st volume.
E. Group Name

But if you don’t see the group name listed then go to the point F.
F. ADD GROUP

Go to ‘Add Group’

The Form:

Group Name means: Type the group name.
Group Website means: Put the main website or the forum of the group.
IRC Server & IRC Channel :

This link tells you everything! All you got to do is separate them.
The server is this: irc://irc.irchighway.net
The channel is this: mangahut
This is just an example. If you are still not sure, then don’t add a group since we won’t force you to. Submit and you are complete.

G. Upload Part 2
Once the group name is complete, then click the ‘next button’.
You will be redirected to the ‘Upload Chapter Part 2’

H. Resume Key
The resume key is meant if the upload fails. You’ll have to copy the code and type it in the first uploading form here:

Don’t forget that when you are upload a new chapter after your old one and it is in the same series…try to use the ‘restorer button’
I. ReStore Button

It automatically adds the last time you added the chapter title and the group title.
But you’ll have to manually input the number, title, and the chapter type.

Mangahut is fully aware that users will post incorrect content, but to post content that is obviously wrong or absurd may result in ban.
Before submitting, make a mods life easier by checking to see if this content is already on the site.
