Hey folks first post. I don't know if this is the right place to bring this up. I keep being redirected to a virus scan page and the only way to get rid of it is to go to task manager and kill the whole thing. Is there anything that can be done about this. If this is not the right section please redirect this thread to it's proper spot. Thanks a alot.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately, MangaHut has no control over this happening, as what is going on is a redirecting advertisement. What this means is, there is an advertisement that moves you from MangaHut to the advertiser's website.

This is a known problem, but as of right now, the only thing to do is to use an adblocker. This stops the problem by refusing to load the advertisement in the first place.

The one I recommend (assuming you are using Internet Explorer) is IE7Pro. I have had this on my computer for a few weeks now and I haven't had any problems.

You can get it at http://www.ie7pro.com

If your using mozilla firefox (because IE sucks a**) download adblocker as an add-on and you it will help

I've had this problem before. Its not often but you might want to look into it. Here is a screenshot.

Lol! It's not a virus scan, it's some web page imitating it.

GET RID OF NORTON.WTF-spooked

Ok, I know you probably got this with your computer when you bought it or someone at PC world (or where ever you got your pc) told you that you "needed itto protect your privacy" blablabla

Lies. Simple as.

Not only does norton use up a big chunk of system resources (not so much of an issue to you as you are on XP), but the logic behind how it works is totally flawed. Oh and it sends out system data - non-anonymously

Oh yes, and just to mention that I'm getting the re-directing issue also.
