Eureka Seven

Summary
Renton is a 14-year-old boy who occasionally helps out his grandfather as a mechanic.

But his feelings of dissatisfaction and frustration grows as his mundane and routine work clouds his visions for his future and he dreams of flying around the world.

It isn't until one day, a large human-like mech, a LFO (Light Finding Operation), falls from the sky in front of Renton and appearing from the depths of the machine is a beautiful young girl named Eureka.

And as she asks the dumbfounded Renton for repairs, the two will embark upon a fantastic journey into the unknown

Yes, it is a fantastic anime! In fact, I only watched it because I heard a few of the songs from the soundtrack. My god, I love the soundtrack. Best Anime soundtrack in opinion, well if you like upbeat/techno music anyway. Haven't read the manga yet, any good?

This Might have been one of the first anime's i ever watched from beginning to end. i definately found it to be a fun one. even though overall it didnt bring much new to the table as far as anime/manga goes, it did put it together and even threw in a little romance in a way that was addicting. As Demon Said just before me, awesome soundtrack.

also, is that what LFO stood for? i never knew...

I would reccomend this as a manga or anime to add to your list. especially since the anime is one of the few ones i find interesting that has already finished. besides who doesnt love giant robots on surfboards, and people overthrowing governments?

yeah the robots are great specially when they are fighting hope i can drive one that too. try to watch it im sure you will enjoy as much as i do. . . hie~ hie~
