I have pretty much every older deadpool comic on my external hard drive and am looking for the newer scans to upload as well. So I'm just posting this thread to see whether or not I should upload them and post the d/l link.

Deadpool was a character created during the 90's by a guy named Rob Liefeld and probably one of the only two characters that people actually care about. He was known primarily because he kinda looked like Spiderman...with guns...and swords....

Regardless, Deadpool was another victim of the Weapon X project. He had cancer but Weapon X gave him a healing factor which basically regrew all his dying cells. He is at a constant state of equilibrium and if something were to happen to that equilibrium, his body will go out of his way to heal it. Basically he has the best healing factor in the Marvel Universe. On a sidenote, because of the cancer...he looks like hell.

He is well known as the Merc With A Mouth and is, quite literally, out of his fucking mind. He hallucinates and talks to himself, his mind is so out there that he can break the fourth wall and makes numerous references to things that the greater marvel universe just wouldn't understand such as calling spiderman tobey maguire or taking stabs at marvel's love for crossover events or using shoryuken on kitty pryde. the list of his antics just go on and on. Deadpool knows he's a comic book character and has fun with it. he also has yellow speech bubbles which help portray, not only his very raspy voice, but just how cool and different he is.

he shoots, he kills, he stabs, and no matter how many times his enemies try to kill him...they can't...he's can't die...which has something to with the fact that Death fell in love with him and a jealous Thanos made sure that he and Death would never meet in the afterlife....

Deadpool is over the top, funny, and a great read for anyone who wants to jump into a fun book. don't judge him on what you saw in that horrible x-men origins version (though liefeld and ryan reynolds have promised us a more accurate version in the next movie which leaves the comic reading community hopeful). though the original deadpool series is where the story kinda begins, i think it began in x-force, cable and deadpool is a great starting point and the newest deadpool ongoing series is really funny and awesome and really deserves to be looked at.

ps. I personally thought that deadpool was portrayed pretty well in the wolverine movie, what was wrong with him?

Sorry about the wait boys and girls. The dang file is 2.21 Gigs so I'm rar'ing it right now. Is there any specific upload site requested? And if anyone knows where to pick up the latest scans for the new deadpool series let me know and I'll nab/upload them. I'll probably just use megaupload as rapidshare tends to make me rage. (Will only have premium membership for this month, as I don't feel like paying 200 bucks out of pocket for unlimited lifetime uploading rights...Might change later.)


Btw my recommended form of viewing is to use CDisplay. It's fairly easy to use and can allow you to use the full screen. If you can't find it let me know and I'll upload that too.

Given the extreme size of the download I'll have to break it into smaller bits...

I appreciate that guys. No one seemed to care so I actually left the forums for a little while. I'll try to find something else that other people might enjoy, maybe we can start a request thread and try to get those fulfilled in other threads we start. Anywho I appreciate it.
