One of your annyoing ad's gave me a virus for the past 3 days and its so retarted it wont come of no matter what!!!!! The only way i can get on my computer without it is logging on in safe mode. The name of the ad that gave me the virus is Anti-Virus2010 plz help if any1 can tell me how to take t off yah-sad

NO,no no...This happened to me too. She didn't download it...

Sorry to break it to you guys but MangaHut.com is reallly getting really bad ads. Just now a direct to youporn.com just showed up. Good thing my mom understood and just forgave me. I also got the same thing. While visiting this website.Of course it can't be coincidence. Someone has to really work on this or else Mangahut will lose some of its loyal supporters. SOrry just stating the facts.

Internet users are expected to run their own adblockers/anti virus security. I have had no such problems. And I don't have a single ad blocker up.

More than likely you ran some random popup, good game, you just screwed yourself, learn the internets.

If you need download URLs feel free to ask. Avira antivrus has a pretty nifty free version, works just fine, though I'm running pro, and have AVG. But use firefox and find an addon called adblocker plus.

A must have.

i suggest you use FFOX because its alot safer and faster.
but i ultimately use OPERA cause it lets you open like 20 tabs without hanging and it has a feature that blocks all pop-ups and protects you from net viruses.

Not totally sure if this is relevent or not but i keep getting re-directed to various fairly random websites.

Just wondering if I'm the only person getting this?


Oh and in reply to the actual thread;

It is possible to get viruses from something as simple as an advert banner. DeviantArt has/had the same problem.

Its usually not an issue on 99% of websites, because the banners are usually flashed-based; but there are ones that try to use quite nasty tracking cookies or something else that is in some way harmful.

So please dont go about spouting that its probably their AV software thats the problem - because you can have some of the best available and still get viruses and/or cookie-raped.
