It's been about four months since Mangahut provided the public upload feature. Incredibly, we had awesome uploaders provide us with amazing updates that we have never gotten before; and yet, for some reason, I am not satisfied with our speed.

I have this dream that Mangahut is meant for greater things. The only thing that is pushing us backward is the member participation in our community. Having five to seven members to depend on for an upload really sucks.

We don't really know what we can do to get members involved.
Yes, there will be changes taken place probably next week.
But changes is not all we can depend on if members do not even care for our new coming community.

When we switch to Invision Board:

Should we keep our threads?
Should we delete useless threads?
Should we change our category names?
Should we create new forum categories?

Tell us what you think.
Reply as fast as possible.
Things will be changing very soon.

I don't mind whether all the thread are deleted and our accounts roll'dback to 0, as long as you don't delete my download thread, which was a bit of a headache to make thoughout the days... Yeah, selfish, but...

Since there are not rules whatsoever about floods or spams, there's no reason to have new categories or change the current ones. I think we have pretty much all we need (or what we don't need).

I don't mind if were all rolled back.
But, don't delete all threads, keep all the download threads, unless they have broken links, Updates should stay, and the discussion threads should stay

Maaaybe I'm a bit on the slow or ignorant side here - but how will deleting the threads and rolling everything back to zero actually motivate anybody to upload more ?

i dont mind reverting post count! but keep the important threads dont delete em all. and let us not change MH STATUSES like being a mod and stuffs.

though im quite not sure if all will agree reverting the post counts, this happened b4 and like all where so mad (at you actually) so yeah!

and @Ayame: it will motivate lurker members because seeing the forums empty it will give them a chance to start threads, post like crazy and be active and will give them a chance to gain promotions and upload moree.. you know seeing people with so many activity wont give you the mood to join, its always good to start something!

well that's one way of looking at it - on the other hand i suppose seeing a ghost forum with little to no activity and no threads might be just as intimidating .. or should i say discouraging.

In my exp. it comes down to notoriety, the bigger you look the badder you are and so on.

Make the forum much more accessible on the main page if you want people participating. I didn't even know you had a forum. Do you? I don't see it when come here, because I don't look for it. Check nihonomaru's website, they have TONS of members participating.

about that ... just gather the good data in your download thread and copy it to the next board.. its a free +1

these are just assumptions...

if you guys did slow down the updates (because of lack of help), im assuming that would hurt the # of readers and therefore would affect advertising???

Id rather update less and last forever. I myself was with mangable.com b4 it went down.

I think the number of daily updates are fine; there just isn't many people to accept and organize the uploads properly, so this kind of thing happens.
Or whatever else you meant.

Yes, No, No, No.
If you need to change/add categories, do it now...

Yes - Download/Important Information Threads
Yes - Delete useless threads ASAP. They're useless aren't they...?
Yes - Some are not very relevant or expand over such a large topic it can be confusing
Maybe - If some categories are changed adequately, there may not be a need for even more forum categories.

A few quick questions - Will users be deleted with the transfer? Will bans remain with the transfer?

I don't care whether I'm stat-wiped since these stats mean squat to me, I would like to believe they mean very little to others too as we come here to discuss, not spam the hell out of every thread to get a measely number up.
