This message is old news but I'll still announce it. I believe it was last month that I explained something about Dattebayo starting to release the Naruto Shippuden anime again. It turned out I was tricked by them.

I honestly believed that the Dattebayo subtitle-group were more of the 'Not Messing Around' type of group. I guess I was wrong. What's the point in lying to your fans; It was not even April Fools Day. They are crazy fools. I'll find them and burn them if I have to. They even had the nerve to add - YHBT - to their announcement.

They think they are so awesome because they are viewed as the most popular sub-group on the net. Well not me, not after what I have witnessed. I mean sure, they're still subbing Bleach; but we all know it won't last long. [read more]

Isn't it usual for them to to this once in a while? Fake releases and stuff by their "trolling department". But they sure are overconfident; how many people would know they are against HD and will not release Naruto because of their relations with viz media?

Basically, tired of having people nagging them about releasing HD versions and Naruto, after they have said several times they were agains it (of course most people wouldn't know of this... Ence my saing about their lack of patience), they released a fake Naruto at 1080p... Wich was a Hello Kitty episode!

This isn't something new for years they have been trolling their fans, they do this every couple of months so its to be expected. Naruto has been licensed by crunchyroll and is releasing them weekly. Dattebayo does not touch licensed material.

As far as I've seen Dattebayo has just been getting less and less popular now that they've stopped subbing Naruto. I think they also dropped a lot of other projects after that like the new season of Haruhi or something.
Either way this is a GOOD thing, because now people have started going to Crunchyroll, who are LEGAL distributors of subbed anime, instead of fansubbers and what not. And Crunchyroll is a pretty good overall site as it is, much better than Dattebayo and their trolls and autobans. ^^
