no it came from a monk who drew comic little animals like monkeys and rabbits, although there where no speach bubbles he used facial expressions and body language to creat a story. thats why when the first manga came out there was so much facial expression and over dramatizations like todays anime with these---->ahh-damn and thistear~ and of course the monkydarn~ and whatever this thing isYeah~ and that my freands is where manga came from
