Feature Request

Hello villagers! I'm sure you've noticed the improved manga reading speeds we've been working behind the scenes to bring you and the many updates the uploading staff has been putting forth, but we are not done! In the near feature Manga Hut will become even better, stronger and faster. However, in this time of transitions I thought it'd be suiting to ask what you believe would make this site better. Please reply to this post with your suggestions.

PS: I'd be a wonderful thing if we could raise 20 more bucks in donations by the 8th. Thank you!

I'm not sure what suggestions you want particularly, but I believe it would be great if the forum had a different template, "proffessional", look...

-Get a BBcode for a spoiler button, instead of the lame black high-lighter for it...

-Also if it is possiple to upgrade the profiles for the forum, it would be best!

The way the site keeps deleting and uploading the manga over and over again is driving me, and the manga viewers nuts...(if you can fix this problem anytime soon, then that will also make the site consistent and better)

-The spirally loading image we get when veiwing mangas:

Although it looks cool, but it seems kinda random...and small.
If you could find a loading gif-image that will soot the new template or forum - or one that says something about mangahut loading, then that would be much better and it will make the site better...

-Next is the widgets when we view the mangas...
I know I am not the only one when it comes adding favorites when you have a manga you like...
-Or When we add imformation/summary to each manga, we find out tommorow that it was removed because the manga database system acted up and deleted the mangas/and manga-info, and we gotta do it over again...which sucks...
If you can fix this, then it will make the site better!

-Next is the manga info system. Every option seems to be there, but we don't have scanlating group proofs that we could use. Also there is no place for us to put an image for the mangas information...

-If there was an option for us to decrease or increase the vewing image of the manga series we are watching as an option then that would be great. (just like we have an option for auto-view and manual-view)

So...um...I don't know what else to say...wistle~

I think we should get some moAr BBcodes like:
(c)(/c)- censures the text, the letters are reaallllyy small.
(imgw)(/imgw)- makes the image 250x250, the present img tag just posts the image and makes the thread look big and ugly. (I made them look with () this kind of brackets because the other way they wouldn't appear.)

- creates a little dot, perfect for making some kind of list/roll

It would be great if you could put comments on the manga or chapter that you just finish reading


And a better way to search for a manga. I like mangafox's way to search for manga take a look at that and see if you can get something similar or better, also it would be great if you can keep track of the manga that you are reading(like the chapter that you are on).
Other then that i don't know.

yea, they have all their stuff organized, we don't. it is way easier to find stuff on there than on here.

one thing i like of this site is the super speed of view the manga i dont have to relaod a page in autoview, so it save seconds of wait that 1 thing i dont want this site lost. About what it be good for this site i think give back the organization of the manga classes, like ecchi and the other ones they dont have almost manga in there or none. and put some images when u click on a manga so i can know how about is.. cause just letters is hard to know. it would be really too if u add a thing that say u read that chapter or that manga is viewed by u so it really help when u forgot what chapter u was reading.

it would be good to for the manga series to be organized better like by genre so people who are into whatever type of manga genre can look for it easier instead of going to a help site to see if that series is in the same genre that they are looking for. For example if someone was looking for ecchi, it would make a person's like easier to be categorized.

what the hell... i didn't know mangahut had one already, so whenever i have time ill update the description and add category to some series then. Hopefully we a new version comes out we won't need to redo the descriptions over again.

I have a request that will make it easier to reconize the people that are mods, uploaders, admin, ect.. make it so that people get a little bar or something to show that they have special powers.. like OM forums (linking to it to show what i mean)

unless this happened when i wasn't looking, i would like to see BB coding for images in meh signature.
Also maybe host your own avatar index for the forums :] that way newbz who dont have their own avatars and dont know where to get good ones can just pick one of yours from the forum :] you could maybe have a thread or form that people can upload avatars to the forum index :]
